Patented Engineering Innovation
STTP Group Limited holds granted UK Patent GB2639598 for a lubrication system for internal combustion engine piston assemblies.
The technology delivers pressurised oil through the connecting rod to the small end and an internal piston skirt gallery. It is designed to improve lubrication and cooling in these areas, with the aim of reducing piston skirt wear and friction.
Development has involved engineering design, prototype manufacture, precision machining and refinement as part of our internal research and development programme.
