STTP Racing provides specialist rolling-road dyno testing and engine tuning for performance, competition, classic and historic vehicles throughout the UK.
Using our Dynojet 224x two-wheel-drive dynamometer, we offer professional carburettor tuning, aftermarket ECU calibration, power testing and engine performance optimisation.
Based in Nottinghamshire, we welcome customers from across the country, with vehicle collection and delivery available by arrangement.
Our tuning services
Carburettor tuning
We tune carburettor-equipped engines to improve fuel mixture, throttle response and power delivery. This includes assessing idle quality, progression onto the main circuit and accelerator-pump response, with adjustments tailored to the engine and its intended use.
Aftermarket ECU calibration
We calibrate aftermarket engine-management systems to suit the engine specification and vehicle application. Fuel delivery and ignition timing are assessed alongside relevant operating data, with attention to starting, drivability, throttle response and performance.
Power and torque testing
Our Dynojet 224x two-wheel-drive rolling road measures power and torque at the driven wheels. Testing helps us assess the vehicle’s performance and compare the effects of tuning adjustments or mechanical changes.
Engine-build and vehicle-project testing
We use rolling-road testing to support our engine builds and complete vehicle projects. This allows us to assess how the engine, fuel system, ignition, cooling and drivetrain work together, and refine the setup of the completed vehicle.
